Tastes of Rutherglen is the ultimate gourmet weekend, pairing award-winning wines with celebrated regional chefs and restaurants to showcase the best of North East Victoria.


About this Event

Join 19 of Rutherglen's great wineries on the 9th and 10th of March 2019 for a gourmet food and wine festival like no other. A progressive feast showing off the region's best produce and wine, travel from winery to winery to sample, taste and sip on the incredible flavours of Rutherglen! 

Get your friends and family together, buy your tickets, and get your taste buds ready for a truly unforgettable foodie experience!

 

Festival Admission: $20

This is your admission to the festival for both days. It includes your entry wristband and festival glass to use at participating wineries. Allows you winery entry, access to tastings and entertainment! 

Winery Shuttle Bus: $27

This ticket gives you unlimited access to the hop on/hop off shuttle buses going around to all wineries on different routes. Make sure you’re wearing your wristband at all times to get access to the buses. This ticket is valid for one day only. Please note this ticket does not include festival entry, you still need to purchase the Festival Admission ticket.

Regional Bus (includes winery shuttle bus): $37

This ticket is for a return trip from major regional towns, and also includes access to the hop on/hop off shuttle bus, too! Return drop-offs begin from 5pm from the Rutherglen Visitor Centre. Make sure you’re wearing your wristband at all times to get access to the buses. This ticket is valid for one day only. Please note this ticket does not include festival entry, you still need to purchase the Festival Admission ticket.

TAC Designated Driver: FREE!

Are you the designated driver for friends or family? You can still enjoy the weekend – just visit any participating winery or the Rutherglen Visitor Centre to get your white TAC designated driver wristband and 2 x free tea/coffee/soft drink vouchers.

Children's Bus Tickets (ages 5-16, 4 or younger travel free): $12

Bringing the little ones along on either the regional or winery shuttle bus? Book them a seat for only $12.

ALL SAINTS ESTATE PROGRAM

Taste All Saints Estate world-acclaimed table and fortified wines at Cellar Door, enjoy a leisurely lunch at 'one hat' Terrace Restaurant or indulge in a cheese platter from Indigo Food Co


Food Partner: Terrace Restaurant

Meal Service: 11am - 3pm

Weekend Meal: Charcoal grilled Bavette steak sandwich (John Dee, Warwick, QLD 150 day grain fed), chimichurri sauce, creamed horseradish, and greens

Wine Match: All Saints Estate Sangiovese Cabernet or All Saints Estate Marsanne

Entertainment: Kick back and relax to lively tunes by Marisa Quigley under the shady trees and soak in the buzzing atmosphere.

Kids Food: Toasted sandwich, fruit juice and a treat.

Kids Activities: Kids will be able to enjoy lawn games such as Croquet and Finska.

Masterclass: Join us for an exclusive masterclass featuring Indigo Food Co select artisan cheese expertly matched to All Saints Estate’s iconic varieties.

EXTRA EVENT

DINNER IN THE VINES

A popular event to celebrate the autumn equinox and produce grown at All Saints Estate. Join us for a lively twilight dinner, hosted in the beautiful Estate’s Rose Garden overlooking the vineyards. Enjoy a 3 course menu designed by 'One Hat' Terrace Restaurant head chef Simon Arkless and team with All Saints Estate and St Leonards Vineyard wines to match.

A memorable evening hosted by the Brown family.

 

Date: Sunday 10 March 2019

Time: from 7pm

Cost: $140 for Wine Club members, $150 for non members

ST LEONARDS VINEYARD PROGRAM

St Leonards Vineyard is a hideaway for wine and food lovers with meals prepared by 'one hat' Terrace Restaurant. Picturesque and relaxing, the winery makes for an unforgettable Cellar Door tasting experience.

Meal Service: 11am - 3pm

Weekend Meal: $20 Bocadillo de calamares - soft bread roll filled with crumbed calamari, paprika spiced tomato sauce, aïoli and iceberg

OR

$20 Serranito de cerdo (the pork lovers dream) - soft bread roll filled with roast pork belly, Serrano ham, Sobrasado (soft salami), tomato and aïoli 

Wine Match: St Leonards Vineyard Rosé or St Leonards Vineyard Pinot Gris

Kids Food: Toasted sandwich, fruit juice and a treat. 

Kids Activities: Enjoy lawn games such as giant Jenga and Finska. 

Entertainment: Hailing from Bendigo, Nick Roebuck combines both pop and roots style into his music. Settle on the winery lawn and enjoy the live music whilst soaking in the festive atmosphere.
