Wine and Cheese platter over looking the vineyard

 

As they say in their blog, St Leonards Vineyard is one of the lesser known Cellar Doors in Rutherglen but boasts a rich history and truly authentic winery experience. 

 

Following their tasting of many of the single vineyard wines made at St Leonards Vineyard, one of them the ever popular Cabernet Franc, they settled at one of the picnic tables and took in the glorious views and tranquillity. During their visit the pair were introduced to Durif, a red wine varietal that has made Rutherglen it's home and has become renowned worldwide for producing wines of excellence and integrity.
