Doc Halliday is an engaging and powerful solo acoustic performer with an extensive and varied set list and a warm, engaging stage presence.

Doc Halliday grew up in the suburbs of Melbourne, schooled by Chuck Berry, Little Richard, Bill Haley and the Comets, Elvis. This education gave Doc his first insight into 'grass roots' Rock n Roll which later lead to a love of its predecessor...the BLUES!!

Of course, as a part of suburban Australia during that era, Doc was also engaged by classic Australian Pub Rock bands such as The Angels, Hunters and Collectors and his all time favourite...Cold Chisel. It was whilst watching Cold Chisel'd last stand video (yep...VHS) that Doc decided there and then that he would no longer labour of classical music on the piano and switch his efforts to playing guitar, then being a Rock musician.
After playing in classic rock bands and duos across Sydney and Melbourne Doc took to the stage solo in 2008, adding contemporary and chart topping tracks and artists to his repertoire to appeal to the widest audiences.
Doc continues to perform his favourites like U2, Otis Redding, Pearl Jam and covers many genres playing The Beatles, Johnny Cash, Talking Heads, Coldplay, Kings of Leon, Oasis, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Tracey Chapman, Cold Chisel, The Doors, ABBA, Kylie Minogue, Elvis, Led Zeppelin and many more.
Doc Halliday has played live across some of Sydney's best live music venues and has played in Thailand and Singapore.
