St Leonards Vineyard

Located only a short drive from All Saints Estate is St Leonards Vineyard, a hidden gem in the Rutherglen Wine Region. Although less than 3 kilometres down the road, St Leonards Vineyard is a world away by way of its relaxed ambience and proximity to nature. In contrast to the immaculate gardens and castle at the Estate you'll find majestic 100 year old gum trees, a natural lagoon in the Murray River that is home to diverse wildlife and flora as well as extraordinary tales behind St Leonards history

The journey to the Cellar Door from the car park is one filled with a proud history. Walls are lined with 100+ year old wooden foudres, each holding maturing fortified wine, antique winemaking equipment previously used to make wine stands as a testament to the contraints and challenges faced by an operating winery in 19th century.

Private Tastings are welcomed at St Leonards, we cater for groups ranging in size from 5 through to 25 or more. Fees for Group Wine Tasting are $10 for groups of 10 or more. For a more intimate experience a Private Wine Tasting in Harold's Room can be arranged for a maximum of 12 people at $25 per person. To enquire or to book a Group or Private Tasting contact us on 1800 021 621 or email us [email protected]

St Leonards Cellar Door
Music on the Murray at St Leonards Vineyard

Music on The Murray

The first Saturday of every month live music is performed at St Leonards Cellar Door. Starting from 12pm, locals and visitors alike have marked this Saturday afternoon event as one for relaxing with family and friends while enjoying great wines and food. St Leonards Cafe opens from 12pm and serves a rustic menu full of flavours with an emphasis on focus on local seasonal produce.

We focus on artists who are local to the area or that are otherwise based in Victoria. Our aim is to highlight the talent we have right on our doorstep and make it accessible to locals and cellar door visitors. Artists who have performed at Music on the Murray include favourites such as Krista Polvere and Adam Toms who've both established a strong following right across Australia. Other crowd favourites include Ben Chan, Luke Dewing and more recently Vanessa Delaine who performed this year at the Tamworth Country Music Festival. Details about Music on The Murray and other events at St Leonards are posted on our Facebook page as well as our events pages on our website.

St Leonards Vineyard Café

At the helm is Terrace Restaurant head chef, Simon Arkless who along with his dedicated team ensure the food served is flavoured packed and easily enjoyed.

The enivable views across the vineyard to the Murray River, the peace and quiet as well as the sheer sense of its enchanted space contributes to this truly hidden gem.

“Last stop of a magnificent wine tasting day! Off the transport and past the vines drawn by the music to the outside sun drenched green. OK this may not be the occurence every weekend but it was great to finish the day. Also there was a great wine tasting room with some special wines.”
